Hi Admins,

We have rebooted the server after installing feature11i latest version.

But after reboot emc connected disks not showing in ioscan output.

What is "11i latest version"???

However, double check the "presentation" and mode settings from array side.

Hi Torsten,

I have recently changed PV timeout to 90 secs and BBR to NONE in EMC disks.Whether this caused the error..?

My server is B.11.23

do you have something like PowerPATH installed on you system ???

did you rebooted the system before you patched the system ???

Himacs,

To repeat the earlier....what did you install??

Changing BBR to none on EMC disk is what should have been done from the beginning, and this is done at the lvol level.

For EMC try running from command line:

symcfg discover
symmask -sid refresh -nop
ioscan -fnC disk

But still....not enough info!
What did you install? What else did you do?

Thanks for the reply.The issue is FC link is down with server.Please find the fc status attachment nad suggest any commands are there to initilize the link.

Shalom himacs,

There is no command to fix this.

This is a sign of the following possible conditions:
1) Bad HBA/Fiber Cards
2) Bad media e.g. fiber cables
3) Misconfiguration of LUN's to not reflect correct WWN as show in your fcmsutil output.

Go into the switch or director and check to ensure that the port involved is 'enabled'.
Most SAN devices allow for web interfacing straight into them.

While your at it....check and make sure the port itself is set up right: type & speed
