8/8 SAN switch Password Reset

Hello,

i have a switch that no-one knows any of the passwords for all admin (All root/ factory/ switchadmin and admin ) users of a HP Storageworks 8/8 SAN switch ( Brocade )...... How can I reset the password.

Hi,

The default is
user admin - root - guest - etc
Password password

To reset:
take a look at the following site:

You can recover using the root password available. Refer fabric OS troubleshooting and diagnostics guide guide at https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-a00046366en_us

If you dont know root password, you will need to contact HP Support for the recovery procedure.
