I have an EVA 4400 with 8 disks.
Noticed a warning on command view eva under the Hardware section. When I expanded the HArdware icon, the controllers were ok but the disks had ?? on them (state unkown). Vdisks created and presented are ok. When the disks were clicked on, the error " object cannot be found appears.
Will I loose any data on the SAN. It is a production SAN.
How can I get rid of this.

This is an issue with CV EVA functionality. If the presented disks are OK then there should be no worry about data integrity. Please try the following steps in order to resolve the issue:

1> restart CV EVA services
2> Restart the SMA
3> Reboot the master controller during scheduled downtime or off peak hours.

Thanks,
Rajiv

I did as advised but issue still remains. I even removed disks from the disk groups and added them back again but still no change.
Just logged a case with HP Support. Waiting on their response now.
