<title>topic application-managed snapshots with SQL in HPE EVA Storage</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/hpe-eva-storage/application-managed-snapshots-with-sql/m-p/4786371#M49098</link>
<description>Does anybody know if it's possible to attach an sql database from a volume that's been created from an application managed snapshot? I've tried it but keep getting a message the volume is write protected. If I create a standard snapshot, I'm able to attach the db from this volume.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>
