I just updated the OS in my servers. RedHat Linux Update 6 Kernel 2.4.21-37.EL
I can’t update the Secure Path V3.0C
First I installed the software from the CD then downloaded the SP2 (October’05) but the install script requires SP1… but I can’t found it.

The update and the installation script said the kernel was incorrect; any idea?
Thanks.
This patch still requieres a RPM that I have not: Secure-Path-3.0BFull64-4.0.noarch.rpm

I've Secure-Path-3.0CFull64-4.0.rpm

The C and the noarch are the differences.

Thanks

Hi,

Securepath is not bugfree under linux.

Use the latest qlogic drivers.
This one supports multipath

Hi,
I know it is hard to believe but we had a very bad experience with SP under linux.

The official statement from HP was to use the latest qlogic driver

Thanks. I'm using the latest qlogic drivers.

I found the problem; the /tmp directory was empty and the update script needs the original RPM under /tmp/securepathRPM to proceed.

I agree with you about SP; In fact I received an advice from HP because there was a performance issue with SecurePath3.0C and RedHat3... I will test with the new RedHat Update...

Thanks again.
