I have to install Secure Patch 4C over 4B for about 10 servers. Do I have to disconnect the server from the SAN first? Do anything in particular?

I have been reading the installation instruction but all it says is "run setup".

Thanks

I can only speak about Windows 2000 and 2003. The upgrade was uneventful and all my servers stay attached to The EVA and MSA.

I also have windows 2000 and 2003. So all you had to do was reboot after the installation right?

My experience is:
0. Shut down the server-disable san switch port-power up the server
1. Disable the SAN switch port connecting to the hba(s)
2. Stop Secure Path Agent services
3. Uninstall Secure Path 4B
4. Reboot the server
5. Install Secure Patch 4C
6. Shutdown the server
7. Enable the SAN switch port for the hba
8. Power up the server
