    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In one diskgroup can you create individual luns with VRAID5, VRAID1 or VRAID0 (not advisable) protection.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So the answer is : you can do it in one diskgroup.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good Luck</description>

      <description>Hello&lt;BR /&gt;I have one EVA3000 storage. I want use 21 physical disks. &lt;BR /&gt;Can I create only one Disk Group and then create  some RAID1 vdisk and other RAID5 vdisk?&lt;BR /&gt;Or I must create two different Disk Groups?</description>

      <description>You create one disk group and you can create VRAID1 and VRAID5 on the same disk group.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You must be aware that when a disk fails, it affects to all RAIDs created on the same disk group.</description>

      <description>Note that only an even number of disks (in your case, 20) will be used for the VRAID1 VDisks. Which is why setting the virtual hot-spare parameter for the disk group to single masks out TWO physical disks-worth of storage space, and setting to double masks out FOUR.&lt;BR /&gt;Personally, I'd recommend adding the 22nd disk to balance the VDISK utilization across the disks in the group.</description>
