    <description>No, you cannot simulate a controller failure that way. Depending on the controller revision and its position you risk freezing the MSA !!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Controller failover is initiated by the hosts. If you want to test that - just pull the fiber cable of the active controller and let the hosts do some I/O.</description>

      <description>If I have two controllers, can I remove 1 from the front to mimic a controller failure to see what happens? Will there be any problems when I reinsert it?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks</description>
