      <description>To my understanding flogi is any fabric devices which connects to fabric switch will make a fabric login and &lt;BR /&gt;plogi is fabric HBA which connects to fabric switch is called plogi.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My question is this fair enough for me to knew about this definition alone. can you please explain me in detail or give me a link where i can get information about this, thanks in advance.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>A device need to do a fabric login and a port login to get connected to the SAN (flogi and plogi) - but these are only some details out of many regarding a SAN in general.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;IMHO, if you want to do some storage administration, you need to know about the theory of operation first. In addition, you need to know about specific device, e.g. HP storage MSA, EVA, XP ...</description>
