      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;I am using one MSA 1000 with 2 enclosure and using "146.8 GB Pluggable Ultra320 Universal Hard Drive, 10,000 rpm". there are some free slot in those 2 enclosure.Now i want to expand the capacity.&lt;BR /&gt;Can I add "300 GB Pluggable Ultra320 Universal Hard Drive, 10,000 rpm" with the existing 146.8GB HDD in same enclosure??&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Note that if you add these 300 GB disks to the existing RAID units to expand them, you can only make use of the 146.8GB and the of the capacity goes unused. If you will create a new logical volume with only 300GB disks, you can best utilize the disk space.</description>
