You nailed it Uwe, thanks! Yes, I can see the alias and port number, etc. Perfect.

I have some HP StorageWorks 4/64 (Brocade) switches, FOS 6.2.0a. In the Web Tools when I go to Name Server I can see the port numbers and the zoning information for each port. I'd like to save this data to a file, but cannot figure out how.

I've tried printing it to a file, but I cannot get any application, including PCL Reader, to display it. I cannot figure out if this same info can be pulled from the CLI. The commands portshow and zone show have the data but then I would have to script a solution to combine the two outputs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi, the command cfgshow lists the zones in the configuration, the alias on each zone and the meaning of each alias.

It also shows the effective configuration, with the alias translated to port numbers or WWN.

Thanks, vcespon. With cfgshow I see the aliases, zones, and WWNs, but I don't see the port numbers.
