Hi all!

One of our customer had this problem. When one of disks on EVA failed, other 2 disks became ungrouped with failed disk. What may be a reason of it? And what is possible hardships may to arise because of it?

Hi Vitek,

Does other two disks also indicated as failed on CV EVA?

You may have to see the status of relevant Disk Group to verify current failure protection level. If requested level and actual level are the same you will not have any impact due to this. If not verify the status of VDISKs presented from this disk group.

Hello Vitek,

It is very strange situation.. two good disks to automatically get ungrouped. You can go through the controler logs and verify when these two disks are got ungrouped. (Is iT on same time as disk failure?) If someone has not intentionally upgrouped these two disks better to request HP support to verify any issues with the EVA.
