Did you change the hostname for the SMA?

Does it work when you login locally on the SMA and use "localhost" as a hostname. Or use the ip adress directly and try again.
Jaime,

you should find the CV-EVA V3.1 CD-ROM in the Media and Documentation Kit (T2538AA) for the 'HP OpenView Storage Operations Manager' (SOM). CV-EVA V3.1 is no longer freely included with the management appliance - it is not available for download.

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/storage/software/som/index.html

It should have been ordered with the EVA. You also need the appropriate capacity license for SOM. See the specifications from the URL I have included.

Current EVAs and the SOM Media kit include Installation and Startup service which can be delivered either by HP or an authorized business partner (at least here in Germany).
