iSCSI initiator question.

I have an rp3440-4 server with HP-UX 11.23 as the OS as a test box to see if I can get iSCSI initiator to work on the server. I have installed the iSCSI initiator on the server and have it pointed to my SAN which is a Dell equallogic PS6500. Since I don't know very much about HP's iSCSI initiator, short of what I have read in the manual, I am in need of your help.

Now that I have everything setup on the server what do I need to do with the SAN so I can use the space that has been given to me? Do I create a LUN and point it at the SAN? Are there any instructions as to what my next steps should be?

I would appreciate any help you can offer.

On array, need to register the iscsi initiators, create lun & present the LUN to the Host thats registered with iSCSI initiators.
