Hello,

I have to deploy a Firmware update for an EVA4400. Its current fw version is 09534000 and the version which I want to upload is 11001000. Reading the EVA Compatibility Reference Guide, the correct path for this would be firstly upgrade to 10100000 version, and then upgrade to 11001000 version.

I have a question regarding to the time between the first and the second upgrade. Can I upgrade to the latest version just after upgrade to 10100000 or I have to wait some time for the second deployment?

Best Regards.

Hi,

if you don't need to take anything offline for the upgrade I would keep it at the intermediate level for some time, to make sure the system is stable before progressing to 11001000. But I doubt there's a technical reason that you have to wait x amount of hours - always. The system should be stable when you do the upgrade so enough time to let you confirm that should be enough.

Hi Johan,

thank you very much for your reply. I expected to be notified by email when any answer was published in my thread. I remember it was in this way in the past.

Anyway, I will upgrade to 11001000 just after the previous upgrade and after confirm the System Stability.

Thanks.
