Bobby,

Thanks for the detailed explanation of the infra. To me this doesn't sound like a SAN or HP cloud system matrix issue. If that blade is not virtualized then its obvious that problem lies within the blade. Did you check the embedded HBA on that blade?

First I would go to Blade onboard Administrator and check if all the blades including Virtual connect, blade switches are OK. then login to SAN switch and check the port stats. if everything is OK, then login to command view and check individual vdisk status.

Actually my collegue was a little but wrong.

Let me describe more what we have here.

First of all yes, as he said we have Blade system with blades inside. Also EVA P6350 with 3 disk enclosures connected to it. Its okay. Then we have MSL Tape library attached via SAN. Matrix stays above this infrastructure and also VC Enterprise installed on this MATRIX server. When i'm looking on matrix web interface - all SAN ports are OK and green. I was checked toghether with HP engeneers and we found that port doesn't getting profile from VC. But it also show me that all ok.

All other servers are working fine, but 6th blade have no vision on SAN (this blade have installed Veritas on it and not virtualized). This blade have no connection to SAN it all. I was tryed to remove server profile from port on matrix and assaign it again - no luck.

Launch hbanywhere or sansurfer HBA utility depending on the manufacturer. if it says the the card is failed or any issues with that card you can contact HP support to troubleshoot further.
