MSA2012i iscsi RAID controller replacement missing paths in vmware

I just replaced an iscsi RAID controller in a MSA2012i that went totally dead. the MSA has two controllers. In vmware 5.1 under the storage adapter it used to show 8 paths. Now it only shows 6 paths. Everything in the msa looks good.

In vShere client, If I go to the storage adapter and go to Devices it lists a "Disk" and "enclosure" for lun 0, but for lun 1 it only lists "disk". The "enclosure" listing is missing.

Any ideas??
