    <description>I think I know where this comes from. Please be aware that different disk MODELS have different firmware versions. You don't need to have all disks at the same firmware version if they are not the same exact model.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do not downgrade firmware on any disk, all firmwares are backwards compatible.</description>

      <description>Why would you want to downgrade?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Though i have never tried it with disk firmware, I remember Command View allowing downgrading of your EVA firmware so it may work the same for disks.  Just supply the older disk firmware bundle.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I wouldn't suggest downgrading a disk firmware though unless there was a really good case with specific reasons for it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steven</description>
