Dear Torsten.
When I press your link and opened
On a website under the instruction it is written

"Download Command View EVA to try the software. All features are functional for evaluation purposes only and cannot be used in a production EVA environment. Features will function for 60 days. Once you have experienced the demonstration you can activate HP Command View EVA in a production environment by ordering the appropriate Media Kit and software licenses"

Are you sure, what is it is not the trial version
Once the licenses are applied this should be fully functional. The "trial" version has a temp. 60days license included.

Torsten is correct. The software comes with a 60 license, which will expire and you will need to purchase a Command View license before the trial license expires. Once you have received your CV license, you add it into the license file in Command View and it will carry on.

I have not checked with the latest versions of CV-EVA, but in earlier versions a copy of each EVA's license was saved by CV-EVA as well. So a simple re-initialize of the EVA did not need to re-enter the license.
But I think it is still a good idea to save a separate copy of the key(s) in a different folder and on a separate system or even make a paper copy and put it in a safe place.
