MSA2000 management software

Hi,
I am looking for better software than the std web management tool in order to configure the MSA2000i disks, volumes and snapshots.

Has anybody an idea?

I have seen a package in operation on one of the Hp booths once but I forgot the name of course.

I am not sure HP Storage Essentials supports the MSA2000i support, but as per the Support Matrix of HPStorage Essentials 6.0.4.

MJ is correct but there is now a ver 5.3 active / passive for the MSA 1000/1500 that supports win2008 too.

Hi Stephene,

Use the web interface. If using DHCP use the Serial interface then type
Show Network -Parameters
to find out the Leased IP addresses for the MSA controllers, otherwise:
Default IP's (SM=Class C, GW=10.0.0.1)
http://10.0.0.2 !Controller A
http://10.0.0.3 !Controller B
Default UserAccount=manage
Default password= !manage
you can also use the serial port to set your own IP.
then just browse to the IP, login and manage your MSA2000

everyone should learn to use the CLI anyway :)
