Hi thanks for your reply, but as I state in my original post, the RSM server does not allow any changes to the current configuration of CV server. I am not that dumb to ask how to change "localhost" to correct destination in a gui.

Hi all,

i'm trying to run RSM server on a separate box than command view. Though I have absolutely no idea how to add another/different storage management server into RSM's configuration. All the option to either add new record or change hostname/IP of the existing localhost are greyed-out.

Any ideas?

thanks a million

Right now the RSM is configured to look for Command View on localhost. You say that you have it on another server, then you must edit that line and enter the IP of that server, and the username and password to logon on Command View.
Make sure you got it right trying to access manually from the RSM server: http://IP_OF_OTHER_SERVER:2372/command_view_eva
