Hello!

I have a problem with comunication between EVA5000 and comand viev EVA (also SSSU).
VCS is 3.020. and CV is 3.3.4.
All i see is "Unknown storage system".
This happens when one disk failed.
Reboot of Appliance and "Discover" under CV doesn't help.
What is wrong?

P.S. This thread has been moevd from Disk Array to Storage Area Networks (SAN) (Enterprise). - Hp Forum Moderator

OS is VMS cluster and work just fine, exept
some errors on disk that reside on EVA (some have 1,some have up to 20 but not increasing).
CV works fine when reports disk failure.
Problem was next day.
In the meantime nobody access CV (or SAN appliance).
Failed disk was repleaced.

Communication between the appliance and the EVA's goes through the SAN, verify that you don't have probems at SAN level, ports, zones, switches, etc.

Thanks to all.

SAN works fine.

I restart controlers (one by one) and uncheck Java version in Tools-Internet options-advanced so CV can start with default Java version, and everything works just fine.

Thanks again!
