      <title>MSA 2040: an unsupported sfp disconnected</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We bought a new msa 2040 dual controller with 4 fc host port on each controllers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an error when connect the sfp to the host port,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;my sfp part number are:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AJ716A&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AJ718B&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I try to using of these part numbres (using 2, 4 and 8 of each spf), but on the SMU i got the error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"an unsupported sfp was detected....."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i check the internet and run the command set host-port-mode FC&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but error still there&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what is the best part number or solution to solve the problem?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Looks like you have them in port 1 &amp;amp; 3, did you try port 1 &amp;amp; 2?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;thanks for reply&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;yes, i check this plan:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;only one port on one controller- fail&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;port 1 of both controller - fail&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;port 1, 2 of both controller - fail&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;port 1,3 of both controller - fail&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;all port of both controller - fail&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any idea?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
