      <description>Based on your previous posts, I assume that you suspect your backup/link problems are due to HSG GLM port. Use of VTDPY with DISPLAY HOSTS should give you some indication with regards LR and LRR. The best bet for me would always be to telnet switch and use portshow, porterrshow and similar commands. From the last posts I would suggest that your problem lies elsewhere though, check your MDR/NSR firmware, check SSP/Zone settings to ensure that no other servers are messing around with your MDR/NSR (other than your backup server etc. as the same rules apply to a tape/ SCSI bridge as do a disk - not shared unless sharing software in place)</description>
