I need some help. I am trying to install CV 1.40 on an W2K workstation. When I try to install,I get a screen that tells me to remove the old version. I click OK, but it never removes the old version. So now I can't install the new release.
Can anyone help......

Try removing the c:\sanmgr folder and all sub-folders and try again.

Good luck!
Hmm...

Check to make sure you have sp2 installed. If not, install it and try again. You may want to try to reinstall the SP anyway.

As far as I know, CV does not load anything in the Registry (I've been unable to find any references to Registry keys in the docs), but I would poke around the Registry anyway just to make sure. Remove anything that says "sanmgr" or "commandview", and try installing again.

Good luck!
