You should be able to do a repair install taht will allow you to copy those files over. Just boot to the win2k CD and select repair install.

Hello all,

I have some LC2000 Netservers that at boot up came on with boot.ini not found and restore a copy of ntoskernel
How do I resolve this issue? Do I have to restore win2000 Advanced server. The hard disks are on a raid card and configured to raid zero. Since I connected the cable to the board directly (bypassing the raid card) I have not had these boot problems.

The problem has been traced to a disk failure. replaced the disk and connected the scsi cable to the board and not the raid card.
