I THINK TO PASS A MACHINE
FROM WORKING WITHOUT RAID TO
START WORKING WITH RAID,
YOU LOSE EVERYTHING.
IF YOU SAID A LC2 ?LC2000 IS THIS ONE ?
YOU HAVE A NETRAID 1M, THAT
IS THE APPROPRIATED CARD,IT WORKS WITH ULTRA 160/ULTRA3
YOU DEFINE THE RAID BY HARDWARE,INITIALIZE AND ITS
READY FOR O.S.
YOU BACKUP ALL YOU HAVE,INSTALL NT, THAN THE RESTORE, THAN YOU MIGRATE.

Client has a plain LC2 running NT4, would like to upgrade it to Win2k and add a RAID card, so a few questions:
- Is any of the above possible/notpossible?
- Can LC2 support Win2k at all?
- Are there SCSI160 RAID cards and drives available from HP that would work for this? What HP RAID cards/drives would work?
- Would Adaptec 2100S/3400S RAID card work although not supported?
- Is it possible to use non-HP drives by putting them in empty HP drive bay units (are these still available for LC2?)
Any advice/recommendations appreciated
