Andrew,

IDE hdd's have never been supported in the LXPro. In addition there is no where in the LX Pro ECU to disable booting to the IDE hdd unless you have an IDE controller card which has a bios that you could disable.

Hope that helps,
Ciao,
Greg

Hi All,

I have a HP Netserver LX Pro with 12 SCSI HDs in my raid array, and a CD-ROM & HD on an internal SCSI chain. I have an IDE HD that i'd like to add to the system. However, when I install it, the system tries to boot from it. Does anyone know how I can change the boot order to get around this?
