Himba,

I would try this step then. Unplug the server. Flip switch 3 to Off (Config Valid) then power server back on. Once you get the config has been cleared message then power back off and put switch 3 back to ON. Then boot to the ECU save and exit. Then try to flash the bios one more time. Otherwise you may have a bad Prom.

Ciao,
Greg

Himba,

I would recommend Clearing the Config (which clears the eprom) then flash the bios from the second link to 4.06.32 (saving the ECU between clearing CMOS and then again after flashing bios to save and exit) Hopefully that will restore your BIOS to factory defaults for you. Should also take care of any corruption in your BIOS as well.

Ciao,
Greg

Himba,

If you've already booted to the ECU and saved and exited and your still getting the 1919 and 0202 errors you're looking at needing to replace both the system prom and the system board.

The 1919 error is: NVRAM Bad --> Boot to ECU, save and exit--> if no change then system board and eprom need replacement

The 0202 error is: Corrupt configuration--> Check the Config, flash bios, boot to ECU save and exit. Remove hdd's and repeat clear cmos and flash bios to make sure software isn't corrupting BIOS. If still no change replace system board and eprom.

Ciao,
Greg
