Ruzamri,

If this has happened to you two times in 14 months you need to go through and make sure that all of your fw and drivers are up to date. There have been a lot of fw upgrades on both the hdds and netraid controllers over the last year. Also I am assuming that you don't run consistency checks on a regular basis. Consistency checks run regularly can also help avoid losing your entire array.
Here is your checklist:
1. download the hdd fw and see if there are any fw upgrades available for your drives.
http://h20004.www2.hp.com/keeper_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix65146.html ** you need these two files to start not including the hdd fw files **-- Catalog File All HP Hard Disk Drive Firmware Tool Catalog File for the AMI/Adaptec Controller and the Utility All HP NetServer Firmware Tool
4.Q.11
13-Dec-01
**Save them both to your hdd and the run the .exe on the 4.Q.11 first to create your diskette-->then extract the catalog zip file to a:\ on the same diskette and boot into the utility.. When you run the utility it will tell you which hdds have a mandatory MMM upgrade.. If you would post your hdd fw like I asked on the first post we could tell you which fw files you need.. (there are a lot of them!)
2. download the fw and flash you netraid controller fw. I'm assuming you are off the embedded controller. http://h20004.www2.hp.com/keeper_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix77403.html
3. If you are running NT/2000 or NW5 install the Utility MS Windows 2000
MS Windows NT 4.0 Utility for HP NetRAID-1M/2M, NetRAID-1Si/3Si, Integrated NetRAID, NetRAID-1, NetRAID (Windows NT4, Windows 2000) from the same link from item 02 and set up consistency checks.

Ciao,
Greg

Is it reporting the Logical drive as "Degraded"?
The fact that it is reporting "logical drive handled by bios" typically means the logical drive (= NetRAID RAID array) is either in an Optimal state (no drives failed) or Degraded state (one drive failed).
When the Logical drive itself has failed, will see "not handled by BIOS"
However, your message appears to indicate that the server will not boot into the OS. Is this correct?
I do agree with Greg. Need to access Express Tools with Ctrl-M during POST, and view the array information.
