Net-Server lc2000 dumping memory error.

Hi,

Some time, I am getting the memory dumping error on Net-Server lc2000. In the event log its saying

H/W Error on net-server : Multiple-bit error in memory slot 0 on bank/board 1

What will be the solution? Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Rajesh,

Pull them memory from slot 0 and put it into a different slot. If the memory errors follow the memory you need to replace the dimm. If you have a different dimm try it in slot 0 to verify slot 0 functionality. Usually multiple bit errors are from the memory dimm and not the board.

addon,you can use HP digtools to test dimm . This tools can help you to locate error in your system .
