Emin,

First off.. How much memory do you have in the server? Take it to a single stick of memory and then try another fresh install. Also is your SCSI A connection on the i/o riser board terminated? If not that causes all sorts of problems.

I would boot to the navigator CD as well and check the hardware event log and see if you have any memory errors or other hardware errors being reported.

Ciao,
Greg

I am trying to install Win2K Advanced Server on a HP Netserver Lpr machine.
I started by updating BIOS to version 4.06.35 and creating a new RAID 0 logical drive. After doing this I ran the install. Unfortunately each time the server tried to do a first-reboot, and got to the screen with a big Win logo and load progress meter, it showed a blue screen announcing that a physical memory dump has been performed. As the blue screen suggested I then turned off BIOS caching, and tried again. This got my installation to progress further, and move to the next screen ("win is loading..."), but then it does a phys memory dump again. This time there are no suggestions - except to contact my sys admin, which happens to be me.
Any suggestions, upgrades, patches, etc would be appreciated! Thanks!

/EG

One thing I should add is that the reason given for the memory dump is: "PFN list corrupt"

/EG
