Ken,

You need to purchase a NetRaid 1M or 2M. The NetRaid Utility is for the NetRaid controller. That is what you'll need for a hardware mirror solution.

You should be able to purchase it directely from HP.com in the hp business store. It looks like the 2m is currently available.

http://www.bstore.hp.com/cgi-bin/hpbs/searchsitehtml.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1650321471.1031834288@@@@&BV_EngineID=eadcfdkdimjlbemgckcfijcij.0&searchString=netraid&x=8&y=4

Ciao,
Greg

We have an HPtc2110, with 2 SCSI Hard Disk Drives (18.2Gb each).

Can I upgrade the server to enable disk mirroring? Can I use same disks or have to upgrade them?

Do I have to procure a Net RAID utility or something.

Anyone with ideas ?

Thanks in advance
Ken,

Looks like the 1m is also available. Search part number: P3410A

HP Netserver Net-RAID 1M controller, Ultra3 SCSI, 1 channel
(P3410A)

That would be more than enough for the TC2110 unless you are going to go external someday.

Ciao,
Greg

If you are running a microsoft based OS, you can run a software mirror. While this method is cheaper than a hardware purchase, it requires more use of the CPU. Here is a link to the steps involved in setting up a software mirror in windows 2000:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q302969&
