I can install NT4 through the netserver cd, but when I try to boot to the win2k sever cd, it hangs at "inspecting your computer hardware". 4.0 installs just fine. I'm stumped. Is there a setup doc or some type of help for a moron like me...LOL. Dave

I've flashed with the bios with the latest update. Same thing. Happens with 4.0/2000/and just for kicks XP. If I load from the use the NOS, and the automatic config it will load NT 4.0. When I try to boot from any 4.0/2000 from the cd, it sees it, starts to load, the screen goes to "Inspecting your computer hardware" and never comes back. I have to reset to get it to reboot. I'm trying to come up with as much info as I can for ya. Dave

The LH Pro, LD Pro & LH II system will hang during Windows 2000 installation if you attempt to boot from the Windows 2000 CD and any Adaptec SCSI controller (including the system???s embedded SCSI controller) is configured as the 1st bootable device on the PCI bus, and it is connected only to a CD ROM drive. Furthermore, there must be an additional storage controller configured to boot in sequence after the Adaptec SCSI controller.
I've got the same problem. Sounds like I need to make the same changes, but how? How do I change the PCI boot order? I can't even figure out how to get into the BIOS? Any help?

Thanks, Scott.
