    <description>You have three options:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1.  Boot to the navigator CD that came with the system and find your way to the System Event Log.  You can tab over to the option to clear the log.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2.  You can download and install Instant Top Tools (if it is not done so already).  This will not require a reboot.  You can find instant top tools here:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://h20004.www2.hp.com/keeper_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix50448.html#HP" target="_blank"&gt;http://h20004.www2.hp.com/keeper_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix50448.html#HP&lt;/A&gt; Instant Toptools&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3.  You can download and boot to the diag tools diskette.  Selecting the advacned option will allow you to enter the System Event Log and clear by using tab.
