Are you getting an "SDREDIT" error when trying to flash the System BIOS? What HP Netserver do you have?
The MMC (Management Controller) firmware update from HP technical support should fix this problem. Send an email to Netserver support at:

NetSrvTech_Support@hp.com
First, try removing all PCI adapters from the system and unplug it for 5 minutes. At this point, power the system on with the latest BIOS diskette in the floppy drive. If the error continues, contact HP support for the fix.
