There's no message at system startup to let me access the CMOS. It doesn't boot from the floppy disk nor the CD-ROM. I can access the Netraid portion, but still would need to access the CMOS to set the boot order. No OS is installed. Arrays are confgured with disks formatted,. IDEAS?

The BIOS setup on the LXe Pro is accessed from a software program called the ECU. But of course if you cannot boot from either a floppy disk or CD-ROM, you will not be able to access the BIOS setup.
What happens when you try to boot from a bootable floppy? What error messages are you seeing on POST? What is the history of this server?
Would suggest clearing CMOS, then trying to boot from the BIOS setup floppy.

To clear the CMOS configuration.
a. Turn the server off and unplug it. Take the case off.
b. Locate the set of system switches on the motherboard.
c. Move Switch #1 CLEAR CMOS to the opposite position.
d. Power up the server. You will see a configuration error. The server will stop at this error.
e. Turn the server off, unplug it. Move Switch #1 back to the original position.
f. Power up the server. The BIOS program must be run to reconfigure the server.

Software for the LXe Pro is available here:
http://h20004.www2.hp.com/soar_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix50460en_US.html

This includes the ECU software. Download the exe file (from any computer) and run it - you will be prompted for one diskette. It will create a bootable disk.
