Hi There,

In the previous message I said that we had a disaster. We had problems with some software, after installation of it, it gave us a lot of problems. So, we didn't have any problems with the hardware.

I installed the Netraid Assistant tool on the concerning server. When I take a look at the Logical Drive properties, I see that the logical drive= 0 and the RAID LEVEL=1, STATE=DEGRADED.

On channel 0. the first disk which is on id 0 is online, though id1 on channel 0 is failed.

What happens if I apply the option to make the failed disk online?

Do you have one or two drives currently installed in this Netserver?
If you only have one drive, you will not be able to make a disk Online, or do a Rebuild if the drive does not exist.
The make or force online should ONLY be used when a drive will not rebuild or the server is down. If the RAID state is degraded it means it is up & running, but at least one drive has failed.
If you have two drives installed, FIRST try to Rebuild the drive currently being reported as FAILED. If you only have one drive installed, install a second drive and try to REBUILD to this drive.
