The HP Dimms are 133mhz SDRAM ECC buffered dimms. With non HP memory it is possible that the specs of the memory dimms cause only one to show available to the system. Boot the server one by one and if both DIMMS show individually but with both DIMMS only 512 total shows then the memory is out of specs for the Netserver to recognize them both.
