Hi all,

I have installed the agent on my linux redhat box running on an lp1000r & lp2000r server. Everything works except I can't see the voltage, fans status and temperature on my server. I have another lp1000r running windows 2000 and with it I can see those status. There is a patch I can download to resolve this problem?

Thanks

Yanick

Hi Yanick,

you'll need a "DMI agent" for Linux:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=lpn10379

...but I cannot find a valid link to the download page :-(
You'll have to request it from support...

FWIW,
Wodisch

Re-Hi Yanick,

the newest link I can find is:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=lpn10326

but that one is broken :-(

At least it confirms, there *should* be an toptools agent (=DMI agent) for linux!

FWIW,
Wodisch
