    <description>There are differneces in stepping, which is marked as a code on the CPU. We do use non-HP branded CPU's in CPU Kits, but with Step Codes at Intels recommendations.</description>

      <title>LC2000 generic processor</title>

      <description>I am looking to add another processor to my LC2000 and do not want to buy from HP (the price is to high since the line has been discontinued).  Has anyone tried or can recommend a generic processor?  In theory they're all the same, but if someone has actually used one, all the better...  thanks</description>
