    <description>You should be able to add a more modern SCSI controller and even disable your onboard controller, and boot from the new controller. As for IDE, most Netservers are not designed to use the IDE as a HD controller therefore the IDE was not in the BOOT strap. But again  you can add a modern inexpensive IDE controller, even then new PCI U133 IDE RAID controllers and make a Mirror and boot from that.&lt;BR /&gt;Your existing onboard SCSI controller should not have any limitations for drive size, for this is not part of the Firmware of the controller but that of the drive.</description>

      <description>I have some questions about e45 disk system.&lt;BR /&gt;1.Can I boot e45 not only from disk wich connect to integrated SCSI controller (on motherboard), but for example from disk connected to SCSI PCI Card?&lt;BR /&gt;Or from IDE disk? I couldn't do this.&lt;BR /&gt;2.Can I make integrated SCSI controller determine Hard drives greater than 4Gb?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;May be I must upgrade BIOS?</description>
