I have a Proliant 5500 Tower, fans spool up, I get the three lights on the drives in sequence, I dont get any video. I have replaced the system board, mem board and I/O board and processors. This one has me baffled. No LCD so nothing to report from that.

>< OUCH ><
That's really gotta hurt. I am in the same predicament with an LH PRO 6/200. I installed an addl. CPU and have the same problems. HP does not seem to want to "support" these "obsolete" machines. They want us to buy new ones.

After all you've been through, would you buy an HP? I wouldn't. Not with this kind of support. Then they won't let us have the IMAGE of the NAVIGATOR CD ROM saying we don't "NEED" it. Looks more to me like they're either hiding something or really have no vested interest in these "OLD" machines. Sorry to hear what you've been through. I'm just going to go out & get an IBM server. You can get all of the legacy support from them.
