hy
probably it is not the version whici consume 100% cpu,
try the following step: check which agent is responsible for hight utilization, check in read me at which subsystem hardware it is relate, usualy this problem apear with managment problems, the services cannot comunicate with the managment chip installed on board, the way to solve is perform a managment reset, pulling off power cables, lan cables, perifericals as modem, printers, ups,..
let the system disconnect for two minuts and reboot.
hope this can help
bye
marino

Does anyone know why the HPTopTools NetServer agents (version 5.5) consume 100% of the CPU utilization. Thanks

Hi,
just upgrade your BIOS to a version from Navigator-CD M.02.00 or greater.

This prob is caused by the MMC Firmware in older BIOD versions with Netserver Agents installed. It may also happen that a server does not reboot (POST Message: Netserver Management Controller Failure). I'd prefer the latest BIOS since there are some more bugfixes esp. for LH6000.
Hope it helps.

Regards, Oliver
