topic Netserver LHII in Netservers

I recieved the above server from a company that replaced this one. The OS and all the drives have been erased which is what I would expect. However, I cant get into the BIOSwith the F@ key, in fact the computer reports that the BIOS is not loaded. I tried to do an upgrade BIOS flash but it is not taking. Since I cant get this to work I cant get get WIn 2000 server loaded. Any ideas? I was able to purchase the newest Navigator CD off of E-bay if that will help any. I really appreciate any help!

Terry

Since the LHII has EISA and PCI slots it needs a disk based EISA setup utility - too big to fit into ROM.

There are different versions of the Navigator CD. Did you get one that supports LHII?

Boot from Navigator CD to configure the system.
There you can create a special system partition that contains setup and some tools. Then you can load setup from hard drive.

You also can download setup, drivers and tools from the HP web site:

http://h20004.www2.hp.com/soar_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix50452en_US.html
