If it is part of a Raid level, check the logical drive property for drive capacity and compare the size with Disk administrator. Also do the same for Disk adminstrator and JBOD. I usually see that error if the hdd is close to capacity and if MS sees more space than actually exists. <BR /><BR />Ciao,<BR />Greg Wed, 30 Jul 2003 22:29:28 GMT Greg Carlson 2003-07-30T22:29:28Z https://community.hpe.com/t5/netservers/lost-delayed-write-etc-message/m-p/3035942#M5120 I know this has come up before but no previous message matches my case. <BR /><BR />I have just added an 18.2 Gb hot swap drive to my Netserver, added it under NT, formatted it to NTFS, assigned drive letter all quite happily. <BR /><BR />However, when I try and copy a group of files to it using windows Explorer from another drive on the same machine, I get the System Error : Lost Delayed-write etc message. <BR /><BR />So this doesn't match the Microsoft Q on this (cluster servers or transfers across networks) and it isn't a rogue application that is acting up but a standard Windows function.... <BR /><BR />Any ideas ?
