Yes its the same netserver lh pro. I tried some slots but it keeps saying error code 10 (the device is not working are not in the system) Also, what is the name for the pci to pci bridge driver? is there a dec driver in the system devices? i saw a dec chip on the motherboard, it looks like all of my pci slots are not usable. But the ecu program recognize the cards in the slots! It sees the network card and second videocard. Only windows 2000 (server) doesn't see them. It's a very weird problem.

thx for your reply.

Is this the LH Pro from the other forum message ?

If yes then maybe plugging cards in other slots may help.

Slot 9 - primary PCI bus
Slot 8 - secondary PCI bus, shares IRQ with onboard adaptec SCSI controllers
Slot 7 - secondary PCI bus, shares IRQ with slot 5
Slot 6 - secondary PCI bus
Slot 5 - secondary PCI bus, shares IRQ with slot 7

The best slot for a 'high performance card' like array controller is slot 9.

Put 'similar cards' in slot 5 and 7. For example if you want to add two network cards then usually its no problem if they are the same model and share an interrupt.

Try to avoid using slot 8.

I don't know what's wrong. I've installed Netware and NT4 on several LH Pro but never tried Win2K.

I'd try to install Win2K without any other cards first. Then add one card at a time.
