Of course. Do you have a NetRAID Express tools manual? It is better if you read, but I will touch the basics.

You can simply add the new drive(s) to the system. You can use the <CTRL><M> at boot to enter the BIOS RAID manager or use the Tools from windows to select the new drive and the existing RAID group to join the new drive. Onces accepted, The controller with go off to redistribute the data over the new group.

When finished you will be left with the free space provided by the additional drive(s). Of course this does not get magically added to the OS Logical Drive mind you. You will need to use Disk Manager and create and new partition and format it. Most people want to add the space to their existing partition that is why I say. In 2000 you can join the 2 partitions together into a single logical drive though even MS does not recommend it.

Hope this helps!</M></CTRL>

Thanks e4services.com

I??m a little be confuse about this "You will need to use Disk Manager and create and new partition and format it. Most people want to add the space to their existing partition that is why I say. (In 2000 you can join the 2 partitions together into a single logical drive though even MS does not recommend it)"

You say tha MS doesn??t recomend this, then is there any other way to add this new disk to de raid5 array, what I want to do it??s add this new disk space to the existing Raid5 wich is 240GB today, do I have any other choice?, than put together the existing Raid5 logical drive an the new logical create by the new drive.

Thanks.
