topic lh 2 bios in Netservers

I just inherited an lh2 with a single 266 processor. I removed the single and put in two identical 300 mhz. After changing the dip switches to read the 300 it showed I only have one installed. Is there a jumper or another switch I am missing. Also I cant find the proper key combo to get into bios upon bootup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This system does have an EISA bus and all EISA systems have a disk based setup program (ECU = EISA configuration utility).

The setup program can be loaded from floppy disk, Navigator CD or can be installed on a special system partition. I think the key to load setup from system partition is F12. If the system partition is correctly installed you should get a prompt to boot from system partition during self test.

You can download the ECU and other LH2 software from this page:

http://h20004.www2.hp.com/soar_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix50452en_US.html
