    <description>lh-II  have one ide controler . i want to know any one used two ide devices with the same single de controller... bcz the orignal ide wire only got one connector?</description>

      <description>BTW:If you are going to install HDD i advise you that the capability of HDD will be less then 8G.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I can't find any relevant documentation but I don't think that the BIOS is setup to accept hard drives on the IDE controller of this server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think it is setup to read only, but not to write.  This allows CDROM drives to work, but not Had drives.  Again, I don't have the official HP reasoning, but I do know they won't support IDE drives on MOST Netservers.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Mark</description>

      <description>wt i had tested it dont detects ise cdrom or ide-hd after the post when OS gets loaded OS recognise it as the new added h/w&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;another thing i used maxtor 40gb ide-hd with that controller..worked fine np</description>
